With hospitality and help from volunteers from the Catholic Women’s League and the Knights of Columbus, the event for other volunteers from across the diocese included a reception, a dinner, and door prizes, as well as time to connect and visit together. Another feature this year was a display of resources available from the diocesan Msgr. Michael J. Koch Resource Library, set up by volunteer library coordinator Mel Zimmer.Volunteers serving in a variety of ways, assisting with diocesan outreach, faith formation programs, committees, councils, commissions, and boards, were honoured at an annual appreciation event held June 4 at the Cathedral of the Holy Family in Saskatoon.
