The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was celebrated on Sunday, Sept, 8 in Bruno, SK, as the local Catholic parish held a “Solemn Crowning of Mother Mary,” led by pastor Fr. Pius Schroh.
The crowning of Mary’s statue was followed by a procession through the streets of the community, and the sharing of “many birthday cakes” in the church hall afterwards.
