The Saskatoon Diocesan Sisters Association held their annual meeting Sept. 13 at St. Philip Neri Church in Saskatoon with 31 Sisters from different orders and congregations in attendance.
Following a brief memorial service for seven Sisters who have died this past year, representatives of the various communities reported on news from their respective congregations.

As a “getting to know you” activity, each table group was invited to share blessings of the past year and hopes for the coming year.
Sr. Marta Piano, FMVD was elected to succeed Sr.Judy Schachtel, SMS, as coordinator of the association. Sr. Lucie Hamel, PM remains as treasurer and Sr. Teresita Kambeitz, OSU remains in communications.

High-spirited socializing took place over a light lunch.
There are presently 78 Sisters of the Roman-rite in the diocese and 13 Sisters of the Ukrainian-rite. All live in Saskatoon.
