Several special anniversaries were recognized at St. Angela Merici Residence in Saskatoon on Aug. 15 2025 – the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – as five Ursuline Sisters of Prelate marked a combined total of 315 years of religious life, witness and service.

Ursulines celebrating their 65th anniversary of vows this year are Sr. Theresa Feist, OSU, Sr. Anne Lewans, OSU, and Sr. Ludvina Scheck, OSU.

Those celebrating 60 years of religious life as Ursulines of Prelate are Sr. Bernadette Feist and Sr. Mary Zerr.

Mass was celebrated for the occasion by Fr. Ken Beck, who celebrated 50 years of priestly ordination earlier this year (April 26, 1975).
