St. John Bosco Parish Prayer Shawl Ministry is now supporting the Saskatoon Pregnancy Options Centre.  The ministry includes knitting prayer shawls for parents that have lost a child, parents needing our prayers and support, and baby blankets for newborn babies.

The Saskatoon Pregnancy Options and Support Centre is a faith-based, non profit, non political charitable organization. Their mission is “to provide compassionate care and support to women and families experiencing an unexpected pregnancy.”

The centre’s Community Outreach Director, Anne-Marie Hughes — who is also a member of St. John Bosco Parish — provided a tour of the centre for the women of St. John Bosco Prayer Shawl Ministry on May 21, 2025.
