Trustees for the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools board of education were among those elected on municipal election day Nov. 13, 2024.
Seven at-large candidates representing Saskatoon were elected to the GSCS board, including incumbents Diane Boyko (9,159), Ron Boechler (5,044), Sharon Zakreski-Webicki (4,879), Tim Jelinksi (4,685), and newcomers Owen Fortosky (6,884), Kate Day (4,262), and Michelle Christopher (3,735).
In the GSCS Subdivision 1, rural Saskatchewan (including Martensville and Warman) Michael Raney (200) was elected, defeating incumbent Wayne Stus (163).
In GSCS Subdivision 2 (Humboldt) Florian Possbert was acclaimed, as was Subdivision 3 (Biggar) representative Bonita Elliott.
A chair and vice-chair will be chosen from among the 10 trustees.
Results among others who were running in Saskatoon were: Kim Hoffart (3,616), Annette Mireau (3,463), Eric Olauson (3,428), Tanya Clarke (3,300), Shane Keating (3,214), Erin Lockert (3,197), Erik Carey (3,052), Richard Kolla (3,050), Mike St. Amand (3,037), Chelsea Jukes (2,945), incumbent Hudson Byblow (2,892), Sandra Molyneux (2,807), Brett Florizone (2,633), incumbent Dana Case (2,569), Jacqueline Gress (2,092) and Myron Luczka (1,712).
