A celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary was held Oct. 7, beginning with Mass with Bishop Mark Hagemoen at St. Paul Co-Cathedral, followed by a candlelight procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of downtown Saskatoon, praying the Rosary and singing Marian hymns.
Hosted by the St. Paul Co-Cathedral Santo Nino Prayer Group and the Filipino Catholic community, the annual celebration included a change of route that took in several blocks of 22nd Street East, with support from Saskatoon Police Service.
At the end of the procession, Cathedral rector Fr. Stefano Penna led prayers for leaders, parishioners, those in crisis, and the city of Saskatoon. The event concluded with a social gathering in the church hall.
