During his Apostolic Journey to the United Arab Emirates, Pope Francis and His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, co-signed an historic document entitled “Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” with the aim, as the document states,“of finding a universal peace that all can enjoy in this life.”

The Holy Father has mandated the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue to disseminate the Feb. 4, 2019 document in “every place and sector of the Church and Society.”
