“Beloved, Let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him.” – 1 John 4:7,9

The eternal, never-ending love of God was the focus of the diocesan Lenten retreat organized through the adult faith Encounter program.

Retreat leader Fr. Joseph Salihu, pastor of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saskatoon led the retreat, held March 9 at Queen’s House of Retreat and Renewal.

Nearly 50 participants gathered for the Saturday program that included talks, discussion, Eucharistic adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Mass.
