Five consecrated women shared their vocation stories and discernment advice during a panel presentation Feb. 12, part of a two-day Catholic women’s retreat presented by Arise Movement in Saskatoon.
The “Open to the Call” panel discussion emceed by Janelle Yasinski in the Queen of Peace Chapel at the Cathedral of the Holy Family also included Annette Mireau, the mother of two professed religious sisters: Sr. April Mireau of the Sisters of the Presentation (also on the panel) and Sr. John Paul Marie of the Trinity, a member of the Queenship of Mary community.
In addition to Annette Mireau and Sr. April Mireau, PM, the panel also included Sister Lilia Consolata of the Sisters of Life; Sr. Rose Clare of the Immaculate Heart of Mary from the Queenship of Mary Community; Sr. Marta Piano of the Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity; and Consecrated Virgin Crystal Hampson of Saskatoon.
