Members of the Confraternity commit to praying for their children and husbands daily.  This group is for all Catholic women, affiliated to the Arch Confraternity in Pittsburgh, now branched into the Trinité pastoral region of parishes at Vonda, Prudhomme and St. Denis. Members meet on the third week of the month for prayer, fellowship and formation.

The group will host an evening of prayer Friday, Feb. 3 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Saskatoon, with a reflection by Fr. Geoffrey Young, as well as Eucharistic Adoration and the opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation,. The evening will conclude with Benediction, followed by fellowship (bring a snack to share if you wish).

Background:

A Confraternity is a voluntary Catholic association established under Church authority for the promotion of special works of Christian charity or piety.

The goal of this Confraternity of Christian Mothers is “to multiply the graces for which the Christian mothers pray. To this end the hearts of these mothers, united to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, place their vows, cares and prayers together, so as to bring down the blessings from on high upon their children and families.”
