St. Mary’s Parish, Macklin, concluded May devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary on Friday, May 31 at St. Joseph Park Grotto in Macklin, SK with celebration of the Eucharist and praying of the Rosary.

May devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary refer to special Marian devotions held in the Catholic Church during the month of May honouring the Virgin Mary as “the Queen of May”.  The custom of dedicating the month of May to the Blessed Virgin began around the end of the 13th century.
